Rep. Steve King Asks Facebook About Censoring Conservative Gateway Pundit Website (VIDEO)

The House Judiciary Committee held a hearing on Tuesday on social media censorship of conservatives.

Breitbart covered the hearing.

The House Judiciary Committee’s hearing “will specifically look at concerns regarding a lack of transparency and potential bias in the filtering practices of social media companies,” according to a press release issued Friday.

Rep. Steve King asked the tech giants about their censorship of top conservative news outlets including The Gateway Pundit.

Rep. Steve King: It’s a matter of congressional record that [the] Gateway Pundit, Mr. Jim Hoft, has introduced information into the record that in the span of time between 2016 and 2018 he saw his Facebook traffic cut by 54%. And, can you render an explanation to that for him and for me, Ms. Bickert?

She couldn’t.  Facebook has no response for shutting down conservative content.

A Gateway Pundit June study of top conservative news outlets found that Facebook has eliminated 93% of traffic to top conservative websites.

Facebook began eliminating conservative content after the 2016 election.

Here are the full results from our study.

We have another study on Facebook censorship coming out in July.
