President Trump surrounded by Secret Service at Turnberry golf course
A Secret Service agent passed away Tuesday morning after suffering a severe cerebrovascular accident [stroke] in Scotland where he was traveling in support of Presidential protection, reported Bloomberg White House reporter, Jennifer Jacobs.
The Secret Service agent served for over 19 years; a name has not been released.
A Secret Service agent died while in Scotland, Homeland Security officials say.
“On July 15, 2018, a US Secret Service special agent suffered a severe cerebrovascular accident in Scotland where he was traveling in support of Presidential Protection.”

He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, but sadly did not recover.
In a statement, the Secret Service described the agent as a “dedicated professional of the highest order” who had served for 19 years.
Speaking just after he fell ill at the golf course two days ago, a spokesman said: “On 15 July a US Secret Service Special Agent suffered a cerebrovascular accident in Scotland, UK where he was travelling in support of Presidential Protection.
“The Secret Service asks for your prayers and continued respect for the agent and his family’s privacy.”
