President Trump posted condolences to the family of Evelyn Rodriguez, the mother of a teenage girl murdered by MS-13 gang members, who was killed in a confrontation at a memorial to mark the second anniversary of the slayings of her daughter, Kayla Cuevas, 16, and her friend Nisa Mickens, 15. Rodriguez was hit and killed by an SUV driven by a woman whom Rodriguez and a man had confronted about taking down a memorial to the girls. Rodriguez was killed on the same street as her daughter, two years to the day, on Long Island, New York.
The parents of the slain girls, including Rodriguez were invited by Trump to attend the State of the Union address before Congress earlier this year.

News 12 Long Island was on the scene when the fatal confrontation occurred.
…News 12 was on site before the incident to cover a candlelight vigil planned for the evening. News 12 was told that a memorial to the two girls was set up in front of a home, when a homeowner came out and started to dismantle it.
News 12 cameras were rolling when Evelyn Rodriguez and a man were confronting a female driver in an SUV. It appeared that Rodriguez and the man were yelling at the driver. The man is seen pushing the car.
It was then that the car accelerated and ran over Evelyn Rodriguez. Police say she was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where she was pronounced dead”…
