Whoops! Weather Channel Caught in Fake News Scam — Wind-Blown Reporter Did Not Expect Kids in Shorts to Spoil Shot (VIDEO)

CNN’s latest challenger for the World Fake News Championship appears to be the Weather Channel. “Reporter” Mike Seidel was broadcasting live from Wilmington, NC, as the storm was moving in. You can see him bravely battling the wind gusts as he proclaims, “This is about as nasty as it’s been.”

There’s just one problem.

Two guys start strolling by in the background, casually walking along as if there’s nothing more than a slight breeze.

After being caught with this over-dramatization, the Weather Channel told Buzz Feed “It’s important to note that the two individuals in the background are walking on concrete, and Mike Seidel is trying to maintain his footing on wet grass, after reporting on-air until 1:00 a.m. ET this morning and is undoubtedly exhausted.”

So now the Weather Channel is saying it’s easier to gain footing on wet concrete than it is in grass and mud?

Meanwhile, in the middle of it all, the guy who made headlines a couple years for headbanging to Slayer while shirtless and holding an American flag while the winds of Hurricane Matthew battered Florida is back at it.

Hurricanes are no match for America and heavy metal.

Perhaps he should try this in the background of the Weather Channel reporters.
