The House Intelligence Committee interviewed Michael Cohen Thursday in a closed-door setting just one day after he publicly testified to the House Oversight Committee.
The Democrats on the House Intel Panel, led by Rep. Adam Schiff are now seeking to interview Trump Org. CFO Allen Weisselberg after Michael Cohen ‘name-dropped’ him several times during Thursday’s interview.
“The Committee anticipates bringing in Mr. Weisselberg,” the aide told The Hill.
Allen Weisselberg has worked for the Trump family for decades — he even worked for President Trump’s father. No wonder why the rabid Democrats are seeking to interview Mr. Weisselberg.
On Wednesday, Michael Cohen gave a testimony to the House Oversight Committee and presented a check signed by Trump Org. CFO Allen Weisselberg and Don Jr. as part of reimbursement he received for the ‘hush money’ payment he made to porn star Stormy Daniels in 2016.

Over the summer of 2018, Allen Weisselberg was granted immunity by prosecutors in the Southern District of New York, who are looking into the ‘hush payment’ to Stormy Daniels.
Michael Cohen also admitted during the hearing on Wednesday that he is cooperating with an ongoing investigation of President Trump in the New York Southern District.
Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, Elijah Cummings also indicated he would be calling Allen Weisselberg in for and interview with his Committee.
Michael Cohen was sentenced to 36 months in prison for lying to Congress and is scheduled to report to prison on May 6th — in the meantime, the Democrats are using him in side-show hearings to harass President Trump and his family.
Cohen’s testimony this week got him into more trouble — GOP lawmakers criminally referred Cohen to the Justice Department twice — once for violating FARA and a second time for committing perjury.
Despite all of this, Michael Cohen is the Democrats’ star witness…
