Poll Shows Most Voters See Dem Party as Socialist, and Why It’s Not Good News for Them

As radicals increasingly take over the Democrat party and push policies like free healthcare, free college, and free money, voters are beginning to recognize that Democrats are, indeed, socialists.

According to The Hill, a Harvard CAPS/Harris poll found that the majority of American voters recognize the Democratic party as a pro-socialist party:

Nearly two thirds of registered voters believe that the Democratic Party supports socialism, according to a Harvard CAPS/Harris poll released exclusively to The Hill.

Sixty-four percent of respondents said that they believe the Democratic Party backs such an economic system, while 36 percent believe the party is opposed to socialism, the poll found.

We didn’t need a poll to tell us that, but since we have it in writing, let’s take a look at why this isn’t good news for the Democrats as we head into 2020 by looking at another poll.

According to MSN, the latest Public Opinion Strategies survey found that while the vast majority of Democrats want the failed economic system put into place here in America, a majority of voters don’t want it at all:

While 77 percent of Democrats believe that the country would be “better off” if it were more socialist, overall a majority of voters don’t, by a margin of 51 percent to 45 percent, according to the latest Public Opinion Strategies survey.

This especially appears to be true with swing voters when asked if we’d be “better off if our political and economic systems were more socialist, including taxing the wealthy more to pay for social programs, nationalizing health care so that it’s government-run and redistributing wealth,” according to MSN:

“Significant majorities of key 2020 swing voter groups like white suburban women (40 percent agree/57 percent disagree), voters in key ’20 presidential states (42 percent agree/54 percent disagree) and suburban voters (41 percent agree/56 percent disagree) all disagree with this statement,” said analysis from Public Opinion Strategies Partner Neil Newhouse.

Even the Harvard/Harris poll given to The Hill noted that 65 percent of Americans wanted the U.S. to be run under a more capitalistic system.

With the left clearly embracing radical forms of failed governmental systems, and the people coming to recognize that while simultaneously leaning to reject it…2020 is looking all that much harder for Democrats.
