(VIDEO) Which Michael Cohen Should We Believe? The One Who Blames POTUS Trump For All His Problems, Or The One Who Admits It Was All His Own Fault?

Michael Cohen gave testimony to the House Oversight Committee today, and during his closing remarks, he blamed President Trump for all of his misfortune, including his “loss of freedom.”

MY LOYALTY TO MR. TRUMP HAS COST ME EVERYTHING, MY FAMILY’S HAPPINESS, FRIENDSHIPS, MY LAW LICENSE, MY COMPANY, MY LIVELIHOOD, MY HONOR, MY REPUTATION AND SOON MY FREEDOM.

MICHALE COHEN, C-SPAN TRANSCRIPT

It’s all Trump’s fault? That’s weird because that’s not what Mr Cohen testified to just hours earlier. Let’s go to the tape…

Uh huh.

REP JIM JORDAN: LET ME READ A FEW OTHER THINGS AND ASK YOU WHY YOU DID SOME OF THESE THINGS. WHEN YOU FILED A FALSE TAX RETURN IN 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, AND 2016, WAS ALL THAT OUT OF BLIND LOYALTY TO THE PRESIDENT?

MICHAEL COHEN: NO, IT WAS NOT.

REP JIM JORDAN: WHEN YOU FAILED TO REPORT $4 MILLION IN INCOME TO THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE, DID YOU DO THAT TO PROTECT DONALD TRUMP?

MICHAEL COHEN: NO I DID NOT.

REP JIM JORDAN: AND WHEN YOU FAILED TO PAY $1.4 MILLION IN TAXES, I GOT CONSTITUENTS THAT DON’T MAKE THAT IN A LIFETIME, WHEN YOU FAILED TO PAY $1.4 MILLION IN TAXES TO THE U.S. TREASURY, WAS THAT OUT OF SOME BLIND LOYALTY TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES?

MICHAEL COHEN: IT WAS NOT

It was not.
