In October 2018, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) criminally referred creepy porn lawyer Michael Avenatti and his client Julie Swetnik to the DOJ.
In September 2018 Michael Avenatti revealed the third Brett Kavanaugh accuser shortly before the confirmation vote–A woman named Julie Swetnik who brought forth allegations of gang rape against the DC judge.
Ms. Swetnik, in a sworn statement says she was a victim of one of these “gang” or “train” rapes where Brett Kavanaugh and Mark Judge were present. Swetnik also claims she was drugged with Qualuudes or “something similar.”
In October Grassley called for a criminal investigation into Avenatti and Swetnik, specifically for false statements and deliberate obstruction of a congressional investigation (violations of 18 U.S.C. §§ 371, 1001 and 1505)
Julie Swetnik’s sexual assault allegations against Brett Kavanaugh began to fall apart immediately after she came forward with her outrageous claims.
Swetnik graduated high school in 1980, which was three years before Brett Kavanaugh. This means she would have been a college-aged woman attending parties with minor teenage boys in 1982-83.
Furthermore, in an appearance on NBC News, Swetnik walked back some of her previously sworn statements.
The Senate Judiciary Chairman noted this in his criminal referral.
On Sunday Julie Swetnik made a huge announcement.
Swetnik announced she was filing charges against her Attorney Michael Avenatti.
This still will not help her with the DOJ charges against her.
Pleased to announce the filing of a malpractice lawsuit against @michaelavenatti.
Thank you @cnn and @andersoncooper for allowing me a chance to publicly set the record straight.
Tune in tomorrow to @ac360 to hear the truth as I break my NDA on live TV.#basta #truth

It’s been a rough week for Avenatti who appeared before a bankruptcy judge on Friday.
