A hilarious new attack ad on Robert Francis ‘Beto’ O’Rourke takes aim at his lackluster skateboarding skills — and calls for pro-skater Brian Anderson to be the nominee instead.
The parody ad by former Funny or Die writer and skateboarder John Millstein blasts the presidential hopeful, saying that he should be “President of a Pacific Sunwear.”
“Even if he was a great skater, Beto still wouldn’t be my pick for president,” one of the actors states. “That would be the GOAT, Brian Anderson.”
Anderson is a superstar professional skateboarder who made headlines in 2016 when he came out as gay.
The video mocks “bad skater Beto” by claiming that he “hit an acorn once and hurt his ankle.”
“We call on Beto to make an announcement — take the stage within the next 48 hours and tell the entire world, ‘I do not skate. The only claim I can really make is that I like Bart Simpson. I never paid my dues to the concrete. What I did is worse than Watergate,'” the ad jokes.
Beto formally announced his presidential campaign on Thursday.
