Gen. Michael Flynn Requests Delay in Sentencing – Cites Possible ‘Additional Cooperation’

General Mike Flynn’s sentencing memo was filed in December and it further proved that the FBI agents ambushed him to get him in a perjury trap.

General Flynn’s lawyers asked the judge for no jail time and instead “to sentence him to a term of probation not to exceed one year, with minimal conditions of supervision, along with 200 hours of community service.”

“Following extraordinary public service in the United States Army, during which his innovations as a highly decorated intelligence officer saved countless American lives, and a lifetime of faithful devotion to his family and fellow service members and veterans, as described in the powerful letters of support that accompany this submission, a sentence of non-incarceration is both appropriate and warranted,” Flynn’s lawyer wrote in the sentencing memo.

Robert Mueller and the DEEP STATE pack of demons ruined an American hero’s name.

The Mueller special counsel and its gang of angry, lawless Democrats made General Flynn wait for an entire year — destroyed him financially — and then finally called for no jail time.

On Wednesday General Michael Flynn sought another delay in his sentencing for lying to the FBI.

FOX News reported:

Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn is seeking another delay in his sentencing for lying to the FBI, saying that he potentially has more cooperation to offer as he looks to reduce his sentence.

Flynn requested and was granted a delay in sentencing in December. He earlier pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his conversations with the Russian ambassador during the 2016 transition, and said he would cooperate with Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election.

In a court filing on Tuesday, Flynn’s lawyers requested a 90-day delay as “there may be additional cooperation for the defendant to provide pursuant to the plea agreement in this matter.”

Flynn has been cooperating with prosecutors in an ongoing case against two former business associates accused of illegally lobbying for Turkey. That case is scheduled for trial in July.
