Are you seeing RED?

The new “woke” socialist Democrat Party has stolen all the headlines with a so-called “Green New Deal.”

It is not green — so much as it is really RED.

Bright RED with a hammer and a sickle, to boot.

Listen here to its explanation by the 29 year old, former barista, without any policy credentials, who coined the plan.

AOC is her moniker and she is now the self-proclaimed “Boss” of Democrats in Congress.

The true originators of this plan are the United Nations Environment Program, hardly a friend to the US. It is cut from the whole cloth of socialist globalism.

This progressive socialist ideology is seen emanating from the “perfect storm of inequality, injustice, and climate change.”

For those backing the New RED Deal these conditions demand what they call, “dramatic action.”

We need to shift IMMEDIATELY to what are called (the buzzword) a “sustainable” environment and economy.

Sustainable for whom? It could be better called enviro-terrorism.

Denying any tradeoffs between choices, these ideologues fail to take reality into account, deny the best science, and all the known laws of economic life and markets.

Here are the major policies they want NOW:

  • A low carbon economy with 100% clean renewable energy in 15 years.
  • Cut all emissions to zero by 2050.
  • 100% net zero building energy standards by 2030.
  • 100% zero emission cars by 2030.
  • 100% fossil fuel free transport by 2050.
  • 100% clean air and water by law.
  • An end to all methane leakage.
  • Infrastructure upgrades on all buildings.
  • Guarantee of affordable drinking water.
  • Reforestation of 40 million acres of land.
  • Restoration of 5 million acres of wetlands.
  • A complete shift to sustainable agriculture.
  • Cleanup of all brownfields.
  • A new fund for urban and rural resilience.
  • Expand public green spaces.
  • Modernize all mass transit.
  • Zero wasted methane by 2040.
  • Job guarantees and universal health care for all.

That’s quite a list.

Tally all this madness up and the bill comes to an estimated $93 trillion dollars over the next ten years.

TRILLION!

That is more than the whole world GDP.

It amounts to $600K per US household, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

That includes between $8.3 trillion and $12.3 trillion to meet the plan’s call to eliminate carbon emissions from the power and transportation sectors and between $42.8 trillion and $80.6 trillion for its economic agenda, including providing jobs and health care for all, according to a non-partisan evaluation.

Marching in lockstep almost all (except Bloomberg) of the RED Democrat hopefuls in the 2020 presidential election have actually embraced the plan.

Are they real?

This crazy ideology makes no sense and is in reality extremely damaging to those it purports to help and to our economy as a whole.

Socialism has now become the defining theme of the upcoming 2020 elections.

The RED Marxist Democrats want to control the forces and relations of production and the materials and resources involved in producing the things needed by society.

In Marxian phraseology, they also want to seize control of the “Superstructure.”

That means all other aspects of society including: world views, ideas, values, and beliefs, norms, education, religion (until it withers), media, and the family, all political structures, especially the state (the political apparatus that governs society).

This is about taking TOTAL control over our lives.

This New RED Deal would in fact lead to incredible poverty.

It would bankrupt and likely kill us off as a country and as a species.

It would end America, as we know it, the petroleum industry, the food we eat, and the cars we drive.

Overall, it would do far more harm than good and President Trump needs to say so—LOUD & CLEAR.
