Way to go, U.N.
On Thursday, Executive Director Hillel Neuer, of U.N. watchdog group UN Watch, tweeted a stunning photo from inside the Geneva headquarters of the United Nations.
The image revealed a large hallway, wherein stood a giant picture of mass murderer Che Guevara.

Home of the Human Rights Council!
Note to people who’ve seen t-shirts with Guevara’s likeness: Don’t become some goofball who wears a shirt with an image of which you’re ignorant. Cuba has Argentinian henchman Che to thank for the country’s collapse into the terrors of Castro’s communism.

Indeed, the destruction of the lives of opponents was raised to a new virtue and the very concept of law explicitly subordinated to the enforcement of control through brute force. As Castro’s executioner, Che Guevara, put it, “To send men to the firing squad, judicial proof is unnecessary. These procedures are an archaic bourgeois detail. This is a revolution. And a revolutionary must become a cold killing machine motivated by pure hate.” These were not the aberrant words of a maverick henchman. Castro himself put it no less forcefully: “Revolutionary justice is not based on legal precepts, but on moral conviction.”
And from The Telegraph:
As boss of the notorious La Cabaña prison in Havana, [Guevara] supervised the detention, interrogation, summary trials and execution of hundreds of “class enemies.”
Way to go, goobs.
The Geneva office is the U.N.’s largest in the world, with the exception of its location in New York.
By the way, someone who knows something of the ravages of Fidel Castro’s takeover is the great Cuban actor Andy Garcia. His film, The Lost City, remembers the good things of Havana, before the dictator’s destruction. I highly recommend it.
