On The View Monday, Meghan McCain opened fire on President Trump, calling her dad — the late John Cain — the Leader of the Free World’s “kryptonite.”
Worse, she denigrated the Commander-in-Chief’s very existence.
At the start of the segment, Joy Behar said Trump is “pathetic” in reference to his weekend tweets concerning former Sen. McCain.
So it was indeed (just proven in court papers) “last in his class” (Annapolis) John McCain that sent the Fake Dossier to the FBI and Media hoping to have it printed BEFORE the Election. He & the Dems, working together, failed (as usual). Even the Fake News refused this garbage!

No one will ever love you the way they loved my father…. I wish I had been given more Saturday’s with him. Maybe spend yours with your family instead of on twitter obsessing over mine? https://t.co/q7ezwmHiQ4

Here’s Joy:
“He tweeted against John McCain, who passed away, unfortunately, not that long ago. It’s kind of a pathetic statement on his part because when John McCain was getting the silver star, Trump was at his doctor’s trying to get out of the draft with these alleged bone spurs…”
Sunny Hostin told Meghan she’d handled Trump’s words “the right way.”
Meghan expressed gratitude toward her co-hosts for their support and then bullseyed The Donald:
“He spends his weekend obsessing over wonderful, great men because he knows it, and I know it, and all of you know it: He will never be a great man.”
Whoa.
Next came Superman:
“My father was his kryptonite in life and his kryptonite in death.”
Then it got especially ugly:
“And I just thought, ‘Your life is spent on weekends not with your family, not with your friends, but obsessing, obsessing, over great men you could never live up to.’ That tells you everything you needed to know about his pathetic life.”
Yikes.
She wrapped with this:
“I genuinely feel bad for his family.”
We indeed have two archenemies in the Republican Party. And though John McCain is no longer with us in the flesh, the battle continues.
Meghan is supposed to represent conservatives on a show stacked with left-wingers. But how can she do that aptly, when the nation’s Right elected the man with whom she’s at war?
I like Meghan, and she’s got some guts (if you don’t think so, check out her ‘tude here). I wish the Trump White House and the McCain family could come together, once and for all.
This back-and-forth is good for nobody. Except, perhaps, the Democrats.
The Republican Party has a chance, right at this moment: While the Dems are splintering — amid fights on socialism and anti-Semitism (here), disputes over replacing toxic rookies (here, here, and here), and disagreement over a 2020 challenger to Trump (here) — the GOP could push forward and ahead with unity the other side of the aisle just can’t seem to attain. It’s a decade-defining opportunity.
And it’s worth coming together for.
